The Savvy Bee

  The Bee is no less savvy about Physics than she is savvy about Chemistry, moreover she is no less savvy about Pharmacy and Medicine than she is in Botany ( science that deals with plants), and we can understand that when we compare her ways with our scientific understanding of different phenomena. The savvy Bee and Botany:Because the Bee is savvy about botany, she adores plants and spends most of her life time between trees and flowers.Plants offer the Bee shelter,food and a variety of all the raw materials needed for her sophisticated lab. Consequently the savvy Bee never hurts plants, and even when she needs something hidden inside the wood of plants (resin), it takes it from the exposed areas of the trees and never causes an incision in it.Through its work, the Bee increases the harvest of plants and improves their breeding.The savvy Bee, knowing her needs never deals with the animal kingdom, and always feels danger from its members.

  The savvy Bee and Physics:In her house-keeping, the savvy Bee utilizes the heat emitted by Bee bodies, the insulating properties of woods and the mechanical movement of her wings to keep her hive air conditioned all over the year, in hot and and cold.The Bee uses her wings like a fan to evaporate water from honey to acquire a consistency that lasts for long years, as well as an osmotic pressure that kills any micro-organism tries to live in.   Bee collects pollen grains, one of the richest foods containing carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, trace elements,vitamins, bioflavonoids...etc, in good amounts.Bee collects resins and phenols to make her own antiseptic (propolis) which keeps its house in a sterile state described by some scholars to be more sterile than any theater in any hospital.
